I wanted to write an unforgettable song
Something worthy of the moment, You may say

It has to talk about futures
and name the past just as "stones"
The darkness should now be ruins
on top of which rises a new Sun

A triumphant tear rolling
and the feeling of having overcome the storm
I could almost feel the heat upon my face
when the last of them came across

This is, of course, a declaration
Be it meaningless or not
And, without a subject there's no such
So I could name You thousands or One
I could try a change of skin
I could Love You or erase You
I could do the best I can

Truth is I'd always be chasing You,
just the shadow of a dream

So, what is there left to offer?
Where would You end?
Where should I begin?

I guess some questions are better left unanswered
